Magic the Gathering and Fortnite crossover cards are out | The Sun

WIZARDS of the Coast has released two new sets of Magic the Gathering cards based on the battle royale Fortnite.

The cards will be reskins of pre-existing Magic cards with art based around the popular multiplayer game.

There are two different sets of packs. One based on landmarks and locations, and one for spells.

The first set contains the five ‘basic land’ cards that are the most common cards in Magic; Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests.

Each of these are redrawn using locations from Fortnite as inspiration.

The other pack contains seven cards based on existing spells, but renamed, and with new flavour text and art.
