Cleaning fans have taken to social media once again to share their handy tips and tricks. Fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, were so enamoured by her cleaning advice, they decided to create their own social media groups dedicated to sharing cleaning hacks. Mrs Hinch, who is also a mum-of-two, has authored several books and has over 4.1 million followers on Instagram.
On one of the cleaning groups on social media, a user asked how to clean the inside of their teapot.
Facebook user Gobnait Kelleher asked: “Any tips for cleaning the inside of teapot? It’s all brown and dirty looking.”
The post was inundated with useful advice from fellow cleaning enthusiasts.
The most common response was to use sterilising liquid or sterilising tablets.
Hazel Smith said: “Put it in the dishwasher or use a Milton tablet overnight.”
Michelle Hodder replied: “Bottle sterilising fluid, it leaves no after taste.”
Cate Mcfadyen replied: “Milton or a cheaper version.”
Lisa Bacon said: “Milton sterilising fluid or bleach.”

Dani Cole suggested: “Baby sterilising fluid and cold water – always works on mine.”
Ruth Burns said: “Try Milton. Not as harsh as bleach but will still do the job.”
Emily Bullock said: “Steradent tablets or Miltons.”

Other suggestions from Mrs Hinch fans included using caustic soda, the dishwasher, washing up liquid and washing powder.
Kathy Murphy said: “A small a amount of caustic soda and soak overnight then just rinse.”
Sandra Toffel replied: “Comes up like new if you put it in the dishwasher once a week.”
Nicola Marsh agreed. She said: “I put mine in the dishwasher! Comes out sparkling.”
Emma Louise Morrison said: “Soak in biological washing powder and boiling water.”
Jill Macleod replied: “Teaspoon of washing soda and boiling water.
“Soak for 20 minutes, empty and wash out – removes everything and comes up lovely.”
