PS5 owners are just realizing two little-known hacks can help you beat games even when you're stuck | The Sun

IF you're stuck on a PS5 game, don't panic.

There are two clever PlayStation tricks that can help you out.

PS5 trick #1 – pin it!

The first trick involves unlocking your PlayStation's hidden web browser.

It's possible to load up websites and then pin them to the side of the screen.

So you could keep a walkthrough or YouTube tutorial on the screen at all times.

It was shared by a Reddit user who said: "Just found out you can pin websites to the side of your screen while playing."

You just need to send or receive a website using in a chat message with a friend on your PS5.

Click the link and it will open a web browser.

You can then press Options and pin the browser to the side of your screen.

And double-tapping the PS button on your joypad lets you switch between the game and the pinned website.

PS5 trick #2 – Game Help

The second trick is that Sony has tucked a Game Help feature way inside your console.

It's designed to give you a nudge in the right direction.

"During PS5 development, our research found that the majority of players told us they seek out help for their games," Sony explained.

"Almost half get stuck in a game on a weekly basis, and more than half said they encounter spoilers when they seek out help for a game.

"Or spend too much time searching for the tip they are looking for."

It's available in a host of games including Astro's Playroom, Maquette, Oddworld: Soulstorm, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

The trick is only available if you're a Playstation Plus subscriber.

When you're stuck in a game, press the PS button.

If Game Help is supported for that title, a hint card will appear on the Control Center.

Tap it and choose the objective you're stuck on to get some help.
