PEOPLE are just realising a simple trick so you no longer have to faff around with more than one controller.
We all know that your Sky box controls everything you watch, but what about the volume or switching the TV off?
It turns out it is possible.
And connecting your TV with your Sky remote only takes a quick few button presses.
Tech guru @wadesramsey has revealed just how simple it is on TikTok.
In the clip, they demonstrate how to hook your Sky TV remote up to your telly if it's become disconnected.

People are just noticing ‘life-changing’ Sky TV trick
This can happen for a number of reasons – maybe you've changed the batteries or purchased a new television.
It leaves you unable to switch your TV on and off or change the volume of what you're watching using your Sky remote.
Wadesramsey, who goes by Wades online, shared a workaround with their 29,000 TikTok followers.
To resolve the problem, simply hold down the one and three buttons on your remote while pointing it at your Sky box.

This opens the remote control setup menu.
Hit Continue and then enter the brand of your TV.
Select the brand of TV that you are using.
From here, you can either plug in the model number manually or have your Sky box figure it out for you.
Your box will then ask you to hit the volume controls on your remote to check whether the connection has been successful.
Hit volume up or volume down. If that changes the volume bar on your TV, then press Yes.
If you have a surround sound system, you can set that up in the next menu. If not, ignore this menu and press Finish.
Voila, your Sky remote should now control your telly, saving you a bit of time whenever you're sitting down to watch something.
