Watch as man falls asleep on car bonnet and refuses to move – the driver is having none of it | The Sun

A VIDEO uploaded to Twitter shows a man sleeping on the bonnet of a parked car.

Uploaded by @gopaulblair, the video starts with a man in a red hoody and jeans lying on the front of a maroon Honda.

The video has been viewed more than 140,000 times and the tweet says: 'Just another day of working from home in DC. Spotted in Navy Yard.'

The car is stationary for a while but then moves off with the man still lying on the bonnet.

You assume this might cause the man to jump off for fear of getting hurt, but he doesn't move.

The Honda makes its way down to the end of the street and comes to a junction with the man still attached.

Unbelievably, it then turns right onto a major road with the man still there on the bonnet.

It then drives off up the road and out of sight with the man motionless.

Paul Blair who witnessed the incident spoke to WJLA News and said the man was initially on the bonnet for around 20 minutes.

He then climbed off and kicked the car, before getting back on again.

Blair didn't report the incident to the police and there has been no update on the man's condition.

Although the man appeared to be sleeping, it's possible drugs or alcohol could have played a part in his behaviour.

It's not clear if the driver was in the car the whole time, but having their car kicked was obviously the last straw.
