And if they do, there are several telltale signs of their presence.

The natural method
The first angle to pursue when it comes to an infested wall is mending or replacing entry points.
The method involves plugging up existing holes in the surface or replacing rotting materials.
People shouldn’t pursue this method before ousting the remaining ants, however.
They can do this with ant repellant, using either the chemical mixture or potent substances such as cinnamon, black pepper or peppermint.
These should deter ants when placed around areas where the ants like to nest.
The professional method
Professionals can eliminate ants much more extensively than people using natural remedies.
People can call an exterminator for a home appraisal, which will help them build a picture of the extent of their infestation.
They can attract and kill them with poison, but this may take a day or two of work.
Exterminators rely on spreading poison through the ant’s nest using them as a vector.
