Property is the most important investment the vast majority of Britons will ever make. House prices move up and down with the economy, in general.
However, there are ways you can add value to your property.
Experts have claimed making the adjustments listed below could add £30,000 to your home.
The report found 89 percent of homebuyers want properties with sustainable solutions. In fact, this is even preferable to a garden.
Research by E.on found certain home improvements could tempt buyers to part with more money.
Almost nine in ten prospective homeowners are interested in finding homes with sustainable solutions such as solar panels and efficient boilers and consider them preferable to a garden, an en-suite or a walk in wardrobe.
Solar panels were the most popular choice.
In fact, more than a third of respondents said solar panels would be the feature they’d be most willing to invest their money in.
They cite wanting to pay less in energy bills, followed by wanting to be conscious of the planet.

“However, if you’re wanting to see a more instantaneous effect while exploring the steps above, consider the likes of installing solar PV panels to your home and combining them with battery storage.
“This is a fantastic way to provide sustainable low-cost energy for your home, something which E.ON’s research has highlighted ranks highly on Britain’s agenda.”
Martin Lewis discussed the Green Homes Grant Scheme, which could give homeowners up to £10,000.
The government website describes details of the new scheme.
It said: “The government will provide a voucher worth up to £5,000 or £10,000 to help cover the cost of making energy efficient improvements to your home.”
