A MECHANIC with more than 50 years of experience claims that a £1 hack can leave your headlights spotless.
Scotty Kilmer – who has more than 55million followers on social media -recommends cleaning your car's headlights with toothpaste and a toothbrush.
TikTok user @scottykilmerofficialsays that with this hack, you can save hundreds of pounds in repairs.
He comments on his video: "Make sure you use toothpaste and not gel, and you have to wipe it all over the place.
"Ones with baking soda work better, just like your teeth start brushing as you wipe it off."
The mechanic then uses a paper towel to remove the toothpaste.
