A nursery room designed with the help of Meghan Markle has been opened at the charitable Harvest Home in LA, which supports pregnant domestic violence victims and their children. Known for having a keen eye for interior design, The Duchess of Sussex has put her stamp on the baby boutique with her signature home style. And it’s not dissimilar to the nursery in her own California property where she lives with Prince Harry.
The LA facility debuted the new space on its Instagram page yesterday, just one week after the Duchess had been pictured visiting the site.
Formerly a storage room, the new baby boutique had been kitted out with everything a new mother and baby would need.
Captioning the sweet “thank you” post, the Harvest Home team wrote: “Thanks to Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and the team at Archewell, we’re thrilled to unveil our brand new baby boutique!
“Last week, they so generously shared their time and resources to transform our empty storage room into a charming space filled with donated clothes, baby accessories, and essential items.”

One of which was a soft grey armchair that stood on wooden legs for a rustic look.
Finished with a checked green and white cushion and a soft toy which resembled a lamb, Meghan had created a cosy space for the women and babies who use the facility.
On the floor, a stylish runner stretches the width of the room, decorated with pink, red and purple tones.
As well as working on transforming the space, Meghan also helped out with folding baby clothes she has donated to the LA charity.
Her donations included a pair of Ugg boots and some baby onesies that are believed to be hand-me-downs.
Elements of the Harvest Home space can be seen in the nursery made for Meghan and Prince Harry’s own children, Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lillibet Diana.
As shown in their recent Netflix docuseries, the baby room is decorated with the same white, green and wooden elements.
The walls include a soft leaf pattern, and a sweet squirrel can also be seen above the door.
Exposed oak beams on the ceiling also featured in the Duke and Duchess’s home, with white-washed walls and wooden furniture to match their traditional yet chic style.
Elsewhere in the multi-million pound Montecito home, Meghan and Harry have used the same classic yet modern interior with simple, clean lines and a neutral colour palette.
Hydrangeas are one of the Duchess’s favourite flowers featured throughout her home and were also used in the Harvest Home nursery.
The blooms were styled on the floor in a small wicker basket, with white petals and bright green stems to match the decor elsewhere in the room.
