Watch van driver ignore road closure and cross reservation into oncoming traffic – everybody is saying the same thing | The Sun

A SHOCKING video on Twitter shows a "dangerous" van driver ignoring a road closure and heading into oncoming traffic, leading everyone to say the same thing.

The video released by Sussex Roads Police on Twitter earlier this week provoked a outraged reaction from the public.

The force have since revealed the man, Beau Feighan, has now been disqualified from driving after his move on the A24 in Horsham.

The video shows a driver of a white van crossing the reservation to avoid a police road block.

Body cam footage then shows the van charging into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.

Sussex Roads Police tweeted: "This is the shocking moment a dangerous driver ignored police responding to a serious incident by crossing the central reservation and driving into oncoming traffic on the A24, Horsham.

"Beau Feighan appeared in court & has been disqualified."

According to Sussex World Feighan, 29, said he drove on the wrong side of the road as he was "late for work" and "didn’t want to sit behind the police".

He added that because he was a self-employed electrician, he could not afford to wait, and said he "wasn’t going to sit in traffic for free".

Outraged Twitter users revealed their annoyance with the driver online – and hit out at his risky behaviour.

One wrote: "Disqualified? Is that it?"

The van driver is just the latest motorist to be caught taking shortcuts.

A Tik-Tok user posted a video earlier this month showing a white van cutting a corner and hitting a motorbike.

Viewers were left amazed after the van driver reversed and drove off without even checking if the bike rider was okay.

And earlier this year video footage showed a disqualified driver almost hitting a little girl at a Zebra crossing.
