Amanda Owen, a Yorkshire Shepherdess and star of Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm, lives at Ravenseat Farm, Swaledale in North Yorkshire. The mum-of-nine sometimes shares a glimpse of her home on her Instagram and Twitter account. After being recognised for her Twitter feed, “The Yorkshire Shepherdess”, she wrote four books.
The show, Our Yorkshire Farm, is a documentary series that follows life on the Owens’ farm.
Amanda, 46, lives in a stone-walled cottage with two chimneys surrounded by a 30-acre farm.
Her home also has four barns and a derelict farm house which they’re renovating.
Many of the photographs Amanda shares reveal the outside of the property, but there are some which reveal more of what the inside looks like.
So what does Amanda Owen’s home look like inside?
Living Room
A few weeks ago, Amanda shared a snap of her living room.
The room has low hanging beams, a huge fireplace and wood-burning stove and a plethora of leather sofas and armchairs.
The floors are made of stone and a flat-screen TV has been put on the wall.

The room has rustic decor including dark walls and wood panelling.
Amanda uses the low beams to dry their clothes and hangs Christmas cards from them in the winter months.
Other photos reveal the family pets making themselves at home in the living room which includes a miniature pony and dogs.
Kitchen
Amanda recently shared a photo of the family kitchen on her Instagram page.
The image showed the family sitting around a large, rustic farmhouse table.
The children sit at wooden benches and pine chairs around the table while enjoying their pasta.
A red AGA sits behind them with silver kettles on top.
Mediterranean-style tiles have been placed behind the stove to create a charming rustic look.
Stone walls and dark red paint further enhance the farmhouse.
Hallway
More pictures of the inside of the home reveal the doorway to the cottage.
In a number of snaps uploaded on Instagram, Amanda shows a large front door which opens up to show a stone wall in the garden.
The floor has light tiles and there are white-washed walls at the side of the hallway.
Amanda’s photos of the doorway often reveal more of the family’s pets.
